Texas ZIP Code Generator — Random TX ZIPs
Sample random ZIP codes from 2600 Texas references. Texas stays fixed; use a seed, copy city/ZIP pairs and export CSV, JSON or TXT.
What does the Texas ZIP generator return?
This page fixes the state to Texas (TX) and samples distinct ZIP references from 2600 records. A shared link from another state is rejected. The map shows an approximate place, not a delivery boundary. A generated matching street remains fictional.
A traceable reference snapshot
This snapshot contains 40977 records and 29540 state/city pairs across 50 states and DC, excluding territories and military mail. GeoNames provides the reference under CC BY 4.0; it is not a complete USPS register or delivery verification.
Preserve leading zeros and place relationships
ZIP codes remain strings. ZIP+4 searches use the first five digits, not the delivery-unit extension. Distinguish cities by their state or browse an entire state. Import the CSV zip column as text in spreadsheets; JSON preserves strings directly.
Map and synthetic-address limits
The map shows approximate GeoNames place coordinates, not a building or ZIP boundary. The source supplies no timezone, so none is inferred. Generate a test address to combine the selected city/state/ZIP reference with a synthetic street and profile from the fakeloc engine. This does not identify a resident or verify delivery.
Reproduce and share
Random mode samples distinct ZIP codes within the selected state. If requested quantity exceeds coverage, all available records are returned. The same version, filters and seed reproduce the result. Shared links carry conditions; data loads in the browser. Exports include source and version.
Are these fake ZIP codes?
The ZIP codes come from a GeoNames reference snapshot; they are not invented five-digit numbers. Use them as postal-format fixtures, not proof of delivery. Keep city and state with the ZIP and preserve leading zeros. Reference coverage can differ from the current USPS register.
