US test phone number generator
Generate fictional US phone numbers by state, seed and format, with unique batches, copy, CSV/JSON/TXT and reproducible shares.
Use the reserved fictional range
This tool combines an illustrative state area code with 555-0100 through 555-0199. NANPA reserves this range for fictional entertainment and advertising numbers. Use these fixtures in interfaces, documentation and tests. They do not receive SMS or calls, and third-party validators may reject them.
States, area codes and unique capacity
The existing address generator supplies one illustrative area code for each of the 50 states and DC. This is not a complete area-code directory and does not map every city. Each code supplies 100 fixtures, or 5,100 candidates across the catalog. Batches allow up to 1,000 rows; a unique single-state batch allows at most 100 and rejects larger requests.
Formats and spreadsheet exports
Choose national formatting, spaced international formatting, or an E.164-style +1 digit string. JSON includes both display and canonical strings. CSV protects leading + with a text prefix to avoid spreadsheet formulas; JSON or TXT preserves literal values. Store phone numbers as strings, not numerical values.
Seeds and reproducible tests
The same version, seed and settings reproduce a batch. Share fragments preserve settings without creating new indexable pages. Changing settings clears previous results before export. This tool uses an independent random sequence and does not alter existing address fixtures.
