IP-based address generator
Look up an approximate IP region, then generate synthetic test addresses for its country or supported subdivision.
Continue to city ZIP candidates
When a lookup includes the US, a recognized state and a city, its result offers a city ZIP search. Candidates come from the separate GeoNames snapshot and may be absent. A nearby or random ZIP is never presented as the IP’s actual postal code. A separate coordinate tool supports manual nearby-reference searches.
What does IP lookup actually establish?
IP databases estimate the location of a network exit. A VPN, mobile network or corporate proxy may appear in another region. This tool does not identify a home address or turn a reverse-geocoded road into your address.
How does the region select a fixture?
The result maps into the existing country catalog, including GB to UK. A matching region name or code narrows the fixture pool. Otherwise only the country is used. Unsupported countries are not silently replaced with the US. The reported city is informational: generated fixtures can use another city in the matched country or region.
Sources and when requests happen
Lookup runs only after a button click. Current-connection detection uses this site’s Cloudflare request metadata. A typed IP is sent directly from your browser to Country.is, which uses MaxMind and other location sources. Provider limits and outages can occur; manual country selection remains available.
What do copy, save and export contain?
The workbench reuses seeded generation, copying, saved collections, CSV / JSON / TXT exports and map search. Saved records, share links and address exports contain synthetic fixtures and generator settings, not the queried IP or its lookup metadata. Generated streets and house numbers are not verified delivery points.
