Address format and test coverage: Canada
Synthetic fixtures · Not verified for delivery
An example for Canada
This deterministic example shows the generator’s output for Whitehorse. Place names and address data retain their destination spelling rather than being translated with the interface. This is a test fixture, not a verified delivery address.

Included regional samples
The current Canada catalog includes 312 regional samples. City, region and postcode are selected together. This list describes the generator’s coverage, not every locality in the country.

Postal fields in your tests
Preserve postal codes as text, including letters, spaces, hyphens and leading zeros. Examples in the current catalog: T6J 3B3, T6K 2Y4, T2C 5R5, T2E 4Y1, T4C 1S1, T2P 4W1. A matching format does not confirm delivery.
Use this country in your workflow
Select a region or use any region, then generate 1–1,000 records. Keep the seed, options and generator version unchanged to reproduce a test. Save locally or export CSV, JSON or TXT; browser favorites do not sync across devices.
Generate Canadian addresses by province or territory
Choose Canada and a province or territory, enter a quantity, then generate. The catalog covers all 13 provinces and territories with selected city/postal examples. Copy individual fields or export a batch as CSV, JSON or TXT. Keep the seed with the generator version if you need repeatable fixtures.
Canadian postal code and unit formatting
Canada Post specifies uppercase postal codes with a space between the first and last three characters. A unit can appear before the civic number, separated by a hyphen; do not add APT in that arrangement. The municipality and province belong together. Our simplified display includes city, province abbreviation and postal code, but does not generate unit numbers or claim full postal-label compliance.
Test Canadian inputs without losing information
Use a text column for postal codes. Check that your form retains the internal space, preserves accented names such as Montréal, and accepts both a friendly province label and its exported abbreviation. A six-character pattern test does not prove that a code is assigned to a property. The catalog ties city, province and a postal sample together; the independently generated street is not validated against that postal code.
Are the names, phone numbers and streets real?
The profiles and street lines are synthetic. The phone field uses an illustrative area code for the selected province or territory and a fictional 555-0100–0199 subscriber range; it does not identify a real contact or cover every local area code. Email uses example.com. This makes the output useful for UI and import tests, but unsuitable as contact information, proof of address or a delivery destination. Postal Box, rural route and military addressing need separate fixtures; they are outside the current generator.
