Hong Kong addresses in Chinese and English
Keep one synthetic record while changing its writing system and display order.
Do not invent a postcode
Hong Kong does not use a general postcode system. Keep the field empty when supported by the form. A forced placeholder such as 000000 is a workaround imposed by a particular form, not a Hong Kong postal code.
Change representation, not identity
Chinese commonly presents the broader location before finer details; English often starts with the unit/building or street. Our paired Hong Kong examples use the same district and numeric fixture in both scripts. Example Road / 示例道 is deliberately fictional and is not an imported street record.
Keep useful distinctions
Store building, floor and flat separately when your workflow needs them. Do not drop Traditional Chinese characters when converting to JSON or CSV. The output selector changes address writing independently of the website language; inspect both forms before designing strict validators.
